Individual Therapy


Individual counseling, sometimes referred to as psychotherapy, allows clients to work one-on-one with a trained therapist in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. The cornerstone of individual therapy is the working relationship between the client and their therapist. The therapist creates a peaceful and inviting environment, either virtually or in person, that helps the client feel comfortable enough to open up. An individual therapist may use humor, brief anecdotes, or gentle questioning to communicate warmth, understanding, and willingness to help the client.
