In fact, for many, anxiety can present as physical symptoms such as stomach pains, diarrhea or heart racing.


Symptoms of anxiety include (but are not limited to):

feeling nervous, sense of doom, fatigue, heart racing, irritability, restlessness and feelings of guilt or hopelessness.

Our Approach

At The Walk of Life Counseling Center we use solution focused therapy and strength based approaches to help you find relief for your symptoms of anxiety. Together, you and your therapist will do a review of your history and identify your symptoms. Your treatment will begin with either weekly or bi weekly appointments to explore ways to reduce your symptoms of anxiety. We have found that by first focusing on symptom relief we can clear mental and emotional space to eventually dive deeper and understand the root of your anxiety.
