Book a Session with Kaela

Hi, I'm Kaela.

I believe one of the bravest things a person can do, is to begin to understand their

strength. When entering the therapy room with me, the expectation is that you are

the expert of your life. It is not my job to tell you what to do but rather to assist you

in discovering it on your own. I believe people hold all the power within

themselves and that I am merely a vessel to help them get there. As an Experiential

Therapist, my goal is to help you become more emotionally aware and assist you in

accessing emotions that are often hidden or not easily communicated. We work

together to process these big emotions and discover where they stem from.

I feel as if I didn’t choose to be a therapist, but rather this job chose me. My life

experiences have brought me to the point in my life to be able to assist, support,

and uplift my clients through whatever has brought them to this point in theirs.

With humor, empathy, and authenticity, I collaborate with my clients to achieve the

goals they set for themselves. I have been fortunate to work with people of all

different schemas and stories. I am here to support you on your therapy journey!

My proverb for therapy is when you’re ready for change, consistency is the key to sustaining your growth.

Specialties

Grief & Loss

When someone experiences the pain of losing someone or something important, it can be incredibly challenging to process. As an Experiential Therapist, my approach to helping clients navigate grief and loss involves creating a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their emotions and identify any underlying feelings that may be contributing to their grief. I collaborate with my clients to help them express their emotions and work through the stages of grief. By providing support and empowering them to find meaning in their loss, I help clients develop coping strategies and move forward in a healthy way. My client-centered approach and focus on emotional awareness make my therapeutic services especially beneficial for individuals struggling with grief and loss.

Adolescents

Adolescence can be a time of significant change and stress, and many young people struggle with managing their emotions. By providing a supportive and safe environment for young people to express their emotions and explore their experiences, I empower them to develop crucial coping strategies and communication skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. Whether they are struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns, my therapeutic services can help adolescents navigate the difficulties of adolescence and emerge as stronger and more resilient individuals. Therapy can also help adolescents build stronger relationships with family and peers, as well as develop a stronger sense of self.
