Juan Moore is a professional Social Worker who specializes in individual counseling with children, adolescents, and adults. Mr. Moore received his B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Southern University and continued his education at Savannah State University where he earned his Masters in Clinical Social Work from Savannah State University. Mr. Moore’s broad experience spans community counseling as well as counseling in school settings. He specializes in anxiety, depression, teaching life and social skills.
Mr. Moore is a problem-solving therapist. His therapeutic approach is from a strengths perspective, as he believes that the client has multiple strengths. He focuses on assessing the strengths of the client and emphasizes these strengths in the helping relationship. Mr. Moore incorporates reality in his approach recognizing the many scenarios that occur in life and addresses these issues. He believes every client is different and provides a nurturing setting for clients to disclose information that can be vital to their progression. Currently, Mr. Moore practices at a private practice in Atlanta where he provides individual, couples, family and group counseling.
